At Bark to Basics Canine Obedience Center, every puppy receives far more than routine care during its first weeks of life. Our puppies are intentionally raised using the same developmental philosophy that serves as the foundation of our future service dog program.

From the very beginning, we focus on building confidence, encouraging curiosity, introducing new experiences in a positive way, and helping every puppy develop into a happy, adaptable family companion.

While our primary mission is developing exceptional service dogs, we occasionally have puppies available for carefully selected family homes.

Our Puppy Development Program

Every puppy participates in our structured puppy curriculum, which includes:

🐾 Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS). 🐾 Early Scent Introduction (ESI)

🐾 Potty training foundations 🐾 Beginning crate training

🐾 Early obedience 🐾 Learning to settle and relax indoors

🐾 Beginning household manners 🐾 Routine physical examinations

🐾 Grooming preparation, including brushing, nail trims, bathing, and handling

🐾 Socialization with adults and children 🐾 Exposure to household sounds

🐾 Novel objects and environments 🐾 Different surfaces and textures

🐾 Confidence-building experiences 🐾 Problem-solving activities

🐾 Positive exposure to everyday life

Rather than simply waiting for puppies to grow, we intentionally guide each day with age-appropriate experiences that help prepare them for success in their future homes.

Meet Our Current Puppies

We are excited to introduce the three puppies from Honey's Teddy Bear Litter that are currently looking for their forever families.

💙 Fozzie

Fozzie is a happy, outgoing little guy who approaches new experiences with curiosity and enthusiasm. He enjoys exploring his surroundings, interacting with people, and is always ready to investigate something new. His playful personality and eagerness to learn make him a wonderful choice for an active family looking for a fun-loving companion.

💕 Buttons

Buttons is a sweet, affectionate little girl who loves being close to her people. She has a gentle personality, enjoys attention, and has a playful side that shines once she's comfortable. Whether she's exploring or relaxing beside you, Buttons has a way of making everyone smile.

💚 Yogi

Yogi has a calm, thoughtful personality and tends to take in the world before jumping into new adventures. He enjoys being with people and has a gentle, easygoing nature. His rich red coloring and developing straighter, wavy coat give him a unique look, while his affectionate personality makes him a wonderful family companion.

Honey's Teddy Bear Litter

Honey and Rusty welcomed their beautiful Teddy Bear Litter on June 1, 2026.

Watching these puppies grow, learn, and develop has been an incredible experience. Honey and Rusty produced a wonderful litter of affectionate, intelligent F2 Goldendoodles with sweet personalities and a strong desire to interact with people.

Several puppies have already found wonderful homes or will continue their journey in future training programs. Below are a few favorite memories from this special litter.
